I have a dairy allergy and the owner went out of her way to make me a dairy free dessert. Sugar llamas makes the BEST dairy free ice cream I have ever had. Their cookies and no cream is out of this world, I actually didn't believe it was DF at first! The owner is lovely and so sweet. You will not be disappointed!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Discovering this spot made me happy all day long. The donuts are insanely great, made on the spot and addictively delicious. They're the perfect one-bite size to enjoy without ever being doughy. Pop one in your mouth, roll your eyes back in delight, and then go back into the box to try a different topping. (I say stick with cinnamon sugar; the donuts don't need much more than that to bring on a food-induced wave of delight!). But what's (almost) even better than amazingly delicious donuts is being greeted by a shop owner who beams with friendliness, is genuinely happy to help, and proudly describes all her offerings. I got my order, left the store, and enjoyed a few donuts in the car. Then I realized that the nearby office I'd just been visiting would love a surprise donut delivery. Went back and Yolanda made it all happen; even after I gave her the wrong address. She went 110% to satisfy, and that's just so rare these days. The place is spotless and welcoming, even the restroom is decorated with all things Llama. You should eat here because the product is amazing. You should come back here because the owner is truly committed and delightful to engage with. Wanted to try the ice cream, but the donuts were definitely the unique treat and having both was not an option. Then I was told they supply the homemade ice cream for Mercado, which I'd enjoyed the night before at dinner. Check! BTW, locals pointed me to Crumbl (in the same strip) where I spent 9 bucks for 3 choc chip cookies so sickeningly oversweet I literally spit the first one out. Sorry to throw shade, and that doesn't make this spot better, but if you're deciding on where to splurge on a sweet treat, the choice isn't hard. No, I'm not related to these people or otherwise connected, in spite of this gushing review. I just love what they do, and I genuinely want to root for them (and eat their donuts!) You will, too! In my book, I found the best treat to be had in town, and I can't wait for business to bring me back to Shelton for more!

The donuts are so cute. And they had my order done super quick. The store is clean and the staff was really nice!

The ice cream is super premium and uses clean label ingredients. Banana nilla chip was an outstanding unique flavor. My son said his mini donuts were the best donuts he has ever had.

Great place for ice cream, coffee and donuts! The donuts are small but they're amazing. And you get to watch them being made. The topping with bacon was my favorite but they were all really, really good. The ice cream was just as great. I love Plasko's but this ice cream is just as good if not better. Definitely worth it if you're in the area!

Sugar Llama next to SportClips haircut is the best dessert I've had since I've been in Las Vegas. Quality EVERYTHING. Fountain Plaza has taken off!! Sportclips is right next door.. Get a great haircut, walk over to the Liquor store for some wine and then some of the best desserts money can buy at Sugar Llama!! Make sure to try the peanut butter Oreo ice cream. It is fantastic. The donuts are also hot and fresh and drizzled with peanut butter- banana fosters ect.

Super friendly service. The space is so clean smells like you want to lick the walls!!! Donuts so good. Must try the frozen llamanade. The employees were so kind to explain my choices and patient while we decided our orders. Will most definitely be back!

I decided to check out the new little plaza in shelton and came across this little dessert shop. My first impression was that there are a lot of options. The little store was a little packed, but it did not seem to faze the staff as they were efficient and courteous. I had no issues sampling a bunch of ice creams and even sampled a mini donut. I ended up going for "the summit," which included 6 mini donuts and 2 scoops of ice cream. The donuts are crispy, tasty, and essentially made to order. They were so good, with a slight sweet vanilla flavor l. You can add a bunch of topilpings to them free of charge, but I decided to go with the plain because they were truly really good on their own. Not overly sweet, and I figured the ice cream would act as a good topping (it really did). The ice cream was a whole thing. I went with a scoop of key lime pie and a scoop of snickerdoodle. The ice cream was insanely creamy, I was shocked to find that the key lime pie was non-dairy! I really loved sampling their flavors as well - this little shop definitely will give the other CT ice cream shops a run for their money. I was able to speak to one of the staff members, who I assume is an owner, because she had such deep knowledge about the restaurant and where they are headed. The ice cream is made by them, and while currently the custom cakes are the traditional chocolate, vanilla, with cookie crumble, they eventually plan to expand on their flavor options. All in all, this little shop is super cute, has plenty of parking, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. I plan to come back whenever I get the chance and try all of their unique and delicious premium ice cream flavors. And I've got to get myself a cake, because wow.

Family owned and fabulous... the best ice cream we've ever had by far! The service & staff is friendly and welcoming. The donuts are out of this world and all the flavors are delicious. This is a must try place perfect for the whole fam. Can't beat the family atmosphere!
